Meet the Team

Our Guides

Our guides know the local waters better than anyone in the valley. Our guides come from various backgrounds and experience but they all share a passion for fly fishing, conservation of our local waters, and the outdoors. With an outstanding safety record, we strive above and beyond to make your experience with us safe and fun.

KIM SEDROVIC

Kim is the owner and founder of Fernie Wilderness Adventures. Growing up in Fernie, Kim has over 30 years of guiding experience on the local waters and was the first licensed outfitter in the area. He has a passion for both fishing his home waters and guiding on them.

BRIAN LULL

Brian was born and raised fishing in Eastern Canada. After moving out west in 2002 he became a guide with Fernie Wilderness Adventures. Brian loves exploring and fishing remote new waters.

BRIAN LEES

Brian moved to Fernie from Ontario in 2007 to follow his passion for skiing and fishing. In 2018 he started to guide fly fishing in the Elk Valley. With the best intentions to go back to school, Brian chose to turn guiding into a career and call the mountains and Fernie home. Brian’s favorite part of fly fishing is taking people out for the day and showing them the mountains and rivers he knows so well. In the winter seasons Brian is one of our lead ski guides.

QUINN GRIST

Quinn grew up close by in Cranbrook BC and has been fishing in the Elk Valley since 2015. Fernie lured him in with the amazing trout fishing in various waters. Quinn’s favorite part of fly fishing has to be spending time in nature and learning the river.

LINDEN MAZZEI

From a young age Linden grew up fishing in Saskatchewan. Since moving to BC in 2009 fly fishing quickly became an obsession, which turned into his career in 2016. Most days you’ll find Linden exploring new waters, and fishing the many rivers and lakes in the region. Linden is a patient, easy-going knowledgeable guide, who works hard and has fun putting his clients on fish all day.
